Summer Bride

Gina and Adam, A Nautical Wedding

Gina and Adam had the quintessential nautical summer wedding. From the groom and groomsmen donned in their tailored linen suits with Ralph Lauren boat shoes to the reception held at The Navy Beach Restaurant, every detail aligned perfectly with their nautical-themed wedding.

One of the things I enjoy most about shooting a wedding is the amazing details that reflect each bride and groom’s vision. This couple did not disappoint.

Gina’s beautiful diamond engagement ring couldn’t have sparkled any brighter against her classic white calla lily wedding bouquet. Check out the crazy depth of field on this shot created with a 100mm macro lens. Don’t you just love it?!

The calla lily bouquets were a perfect addition to Gina’s summer wedding.

One of Gina’s close friends sent her a bouquet of sunflowers. Look how vibrant they are. They just scream sunny summer day!

Gina wore white flip flops beneath her lovely ballgown. Layers of crinoline gave her dress just the right amount of poof for her non-formal beach wedding to Adam.

Guests were encouraged to grab a pair of flip flops to make themselves more comfortable for the sunset beach ceremony.

I loved their fish caketopper and fish cookie favors. Too cute!

The Navy Restaurant was chock-full of nautical details.  It was the perfect venue for this laid-back, non-formal couple’s affair. Vintage swimsuits were framed and hung in the hallway.

Fishing rods were hung on the wall in the lobby adding a seafaring flair to the restaurant’s atmosphere.

A fun time was had by all. Thanks guys for letting me share in your special day! Until next time, here’s a kiss and a smile! 🙂
