The wedding bouquet truly reflects the bride’s own sense of personal style. Is she a classic, traditional bride, a fun, edgy bride or somewhere in between? For your viewing pleasure, a few of my favorite wedding bouquets that I’ve had the pleasure of shooting.
Gina’s Bouquet:
Gina and Adam’s nautical wedding in Montauk was full of tremendous energy and above all love!
Gina chose a monochromatic, white calla lily bridal bouquet and her florist created a lovely, yellow-orange, calla lily bouquet for the perfect accompaniment.
Ellen’s Bouquet:
My assistant and I traveled south down to Alexandria, Virginia to shoot Ellen and Jerry’s nuptials. It was a beautiful wedding and they made us feel like part of their family with their southern hospitality!
Ellen’s is one of my all-time favorite wedding bouquets consisting of roses, freesia, ranunculus, calla lilies and a pearl accented, monogram. It screams autumn wedding! Kudos to her brother-in-law Terry, her very talented floral designer. Feel free to check out Terry’s blog, “Down the Isle” for all things floral.
Marisa and Elena’s Bouquets:
My husband and I traveled to Washington D.C. to shoot John and Marisa’s wedding in our nation’s capitol and what a wonderful wedding it was!
Marisa chose a bridal bouquet of ivory roses. I love how Marisa’s florist matched her sister’s bouquet perfectly to Elena’s periwinkle blue suit. Pure perfection!
Melanie’s Bouquet:
Scott and Melanie had a traditional church ceremony and wedding reception held up in Connecticut. It was a fun-filled day with lots of friends and family!
Melanie’s bouquet won my heart not only for its fragrant roses and sweet peas, but its lovely pearl and crystal accents. Its French-braided ribbon handle added the perfect touch of elegance!
Janine’s Bouquet:
Several years ago, I had the pleasure of second-shooting at Janine’s wedding for Wavecrest Studio. It was a wonderful wedding and I truly enjoyed working with all of them! (Unfortunately, Wavecrest Studio has since closed its doors.)
Janine’s bouquet of multi-colored roses, orchids and gerbera daisies was ideal for a summer wedding. The bride’s pretty French manicure and stunning diamond engagement ring and eternity band complete the beautiful look of this bouquet ensemble!
Whether you’re a traditional, boho, DIY, an avant garde bride or somewhere in-between, the floral choices for today’s wedding bouquets are endless!
Happy planning and until next time, here’s a kiss and a smile! 🙂
